Scottish tycoon kills his wife and then himself...3 children saw everything!

David Thomas Blyth, originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, has shot dead his wife, singer and comedian of Czech and South African origin Victoria Vera Blyth, in a shocking murder-suicide of the couple who had been living in Turkey for several years. As reported, the oil businessman shot dead the woman after an argument over several messages, in the house where they lived with their three children aged 4, 10 and 14 years.

The latter are now in the care of their mother's relatives, who traveled to Turkey after the announcement of the tragic event. 40-year-old Victoria was a well-known character in the Czech Republic. She published a music album in 2004 with covers of popular American songs such as 'Killing Me Softly' or 'Hotel California' by the group 'Eagles'.

David was the owner of an international energy company called ASG Inspection. He married Victoria in 2014 and they initially lived together in Prague, before settling in Turkey in 2019 as he reportedly did business in the Middle East.

The deceased was born in South Africa and settled with her family in the Czech Republic when she was a teenager, where she studied music. A statement from the ASG Inspection group said the Blyth energy company is an 'independent' supplier of oil and gas. Victoria quickly became involved with the new community in Ankara, organizing sporting and artistic events, as well as working to improve Turkey-Czech relations, writes Scottish network Daily Record.

On social networks, she described herself as half-Turkish, half-Czech, half-South African, while in a recent interview, Victoria indicated that they were settling in Turkey.

"We are settling in Turkey with the children because my husband is starting a business there and I will help him. We fly to my husband's house in Ankara every now and then. Children are growing up and need their father. We are considering all options for the sake of the children," she said in another interview.
