Fabrizio Capogna, 39, is cooperating with the prosecutor's office in the investigation of cocaine trafficking between Albanians and Leandro Bennato, accused of Diabolik's murder.
You have to survive and navigate the drug market. Especially when the Albanians threw their "cards" on the table in Rome. When the historical "army" of the capital is no longer able to offer "good" prices, the mafia in the East is ready to send cocaine cargoes at cheaper costs.
A clash is taking place in Rome. An old glory of the drug trade as Fabrizio Capogna knows well.
He is a highly respected middleman, takes cocaine abroad, establishes contacts in South America or the Netherlands, arranges shipments to Italy, gives advice on the management of drug centers and how to launder money through the channels of the eastern mafia.
He knows the novel Gomorrah, the formation of groups, constant clashes and the rules of the game. And he decided to tell them to the prosecutor's office in Rome.
He repents, speaks and dispenses pearls of criminal wisdom.
The first law: He who baptizes me is my friend. I go where it suits me.
Second: If they rob me to get to you, then we can't work together.
Third: When it comes to two million euros, the friendship ends.
Fourth: To communicate, even in prison, there are different platforms. The signal is like Whatsapp. It's fast and doesn't cause any problems. Just give the phones to the poor: I bought them cigarettes, I did shopping for them, and they kept my cell phone.
The fifth law: You don't steal the supplier or as we say you don't bypass it. If the rules are not enough, "there is always Jesus Christ. He stole 10 kilos from me and we stole 107...
Capogna tells everything. He speaks with the Antimafia of Rome, with the prosecutor Giovanni Musarò, with his colleague Francesco Cascini. His reports have already been filed in court.
It is he who is talking about 107 kilos of cocaine stolen from the wrong person, since the owner is called Leandro Bennato, a shark in the world of crime.
According to the investigators, he dominated together with his brother Enrico and is accused of the murder of Fabrizio Piscitelli, the leader of the Italian-Albanian gang, otherwise known as "Diabolik", who was killed in 2019 inside the Aqueductua Park in Rome.

But a few years ago Bennato had a problem with "Lolli", an Albanian who sent cocaine at "good" prices. Capogna is one of his contacts and says that he explained to Bennato: "It's not that I prefer Albanians more than you, but only if I pay 25 and you give me 26, I will save a lot of money."
Bennato is close to a boss of the caliber of Giuseppe Molisso and competitors around him are also a pair of Albanians: Aldo and Renato. It is the clash between two criminal syndicates.
"Everyone wanted to work for Lolli. Molisso told me: you know where he sends the truck to unload, let's take the whole truck directly to him.
Capogna doesn't like this. But Lolli's loyalty to the Albanian resulted in a robbery. He was supposed to deliver a shipment to Bennato's group, but “a guy comes out and ambushes him with an AK-47 and Aldo pulls out his gun. He says, look, we're not angry with you, we're angry with the one who ordered you to… overlook us…”.
It's not worth having Bennaton against you. The last one to do it was called Gualtiero Giombini. At the age of 71, he was the caretaker of 107 kilograms of cocaine.
In agreement with some collaborators, he suddenly disappeared. Has died. A video records the torture that was done to him: He had duct tape over his mouth, he was tied to a chair, they put pins in his nails and he screamed, he complained, but he couldn't scream out loud because he was gagged... He he was a great gentleman, and they were torturing him...".
Bennato, Molisso and the Albanians
Overcoming the "misunderstanding", Molisso and Bennato go into business with Lolli and other Albanians, the powerful Aldo and Renato, from whom they buy the goods that they then steal. Bennato is afraid of their revenge and kidnaps Giombini: Now these guys will see that they will kill me, because 107 kilograms is two million euros. How do I return them?
To make sure that he understood, the prosecutor asks: Were they not friends?
"Doctor, you forgot the third law! When there are two million euros, the friendship ends if you don't pay."
