Shocking details have been made public by Austrian media regarding the tragedy that occurred at a school in Graz.

The 21-year-old, identified as Arthur A., ​​opened fire at the school where he had taught, killing nine students and a teacher.

He then shot himself in a bathroom, bringing the total number of victims of this massacre to 11.

According to what Austrian media reports , before committing the serious crime, the young man had sent a video of his mother on his cell phone.

In it, he apologized for "what he was about to do now." The 21-year-old thanked his mother for taking care of him.

The perpetrator's mother opened this video 24 minutes after it was sent to her cell phone. By this time, he had committed the massacre.

Furthermore, Arthur A. left a suicide note. Kronen Zeitung writes that in it he blamed the school and the bullying against him for the act.

What makes the incident even more horrifying is the fact that the 21-year-old, while contemplating committing such an act, expressed concern for his cat and that it needed to be taken care of as much as possible after the massacre.

21-year-old Arthur A. lived alone with his mother in Kalsdorf after his parents separated. His father is of Armenian origin.

"It is unimaginable that such a person would cause a massacre," Kronen writes next to the photo of the young man.

Austria has declared three days of national mourning after the deadliest attack in the country since World War II.
