The slow advance of Russian troops in Ukraine and the successive victories of the locals through the launched counter-offensive has led many of Vladimir Putin's supporters to call for a review of the war strategy.
One of them is the leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, who seems to have lost patience with defeats and military defeats.
In a post on social networks, Kadyrov criticized Russian commanders who abandoned the strategic city of Liman and asked President Putin to consider using conventional nuclear weapons against Ukraine.
"In my opinion, more drastic measures should be taken, up to the declaration of martial law in the border areas and the use of small nuclear weapons," writes Kadyrov.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian army has entered the city of Liman, in eastern Ukraine, while Russian forces have withdrawn for fear of being surrounded.
