The center right has won the political elections in Italy. In her speech, Giorgia Meloni, who is expected to be prime minister of Italy, said that 'it is the time of responsibility. We will govern for all Italians'. Meloni said that this will be a government led by 'Frateli di Italia.'.

The coalition led by the Brothers of Italy has a clear majority. In the senate, the Right Center received about 43% of the votes, while the Left Center received about 27%.

'Fratteli di Italia', is the first party with more than 26% of the votes, Lega drops to 9% while Silvio Berlusconi's Forza Italia is around 8%.

Meanwhile, Enrico Letta's Democratic Party is around 20%, Action-Italia Viva exceeds 7%, Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra is over 3%, + Europe 3%, Italexit around 2%, Unione Popolare around 1.5%, Ne Moderat with 1.1 %. 5 Star Movement is at 15%.

63.95% participated in the voting. This is the lowest figure ever recorded for a general election (in the previous election round in 2018 at the same time, 73.01% had gone to the polls).
