A dramatic moment occurred in the Oval Office on Thursday afternoon during a press conference by US President Donald Trump on the issue of the large price cuts that pharmaceutical companies "Novo Nordisk" and "Eli Lilly" will offer for weight loss products, contributing to the fight against obesity.

As David Rix, CEO of Eli Lilly, was speaking, footage showed Gordon Findlay, an executive at pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk, fainting and collapsing next to the US president.

Officers at the scene managed to detain Findley, who is the head of the American market for the company "Novo Nordisk".

Staff removed people and media from the Oval Office as the broadcast was cut off. US media confirmed that he received immediate medical attention, although his condition following the incident is not yet clear.

Earlier during the conference, Donald Trump announced an agreement with pharmaceutical companies aimed at lowering the prices of weight loss drugs, reducing the cost to $150 per month for some patients.
