Thaçi's lawyer, Luka Misetic, said that there is no evidence that Thaçi had a role in committing the crimes or transmitting the "common criminal intent" of the accused, or having had a role in drafting and distributing KLA communiqués.

"The defense knows that you will do your job, your honor, and you will accept the consensus, so the evidence we have has been described to you. In fact, it is the Prosecution that does not want you to do your job. They want you to do their job, they want you to find evidence that they could not find. But as I said on Monday, the burden of proof falls on the SPO and only on the SPO, and they failed on that," he said.

According to him, the Specialized Prosecutor's Office committed a "great sin", as according to him, it promised a lot, but did not support the claims with evidence.

"They promised fireworks, a spectacle, but they didn't present anything," the lawyer said.

Luka Misetic has accused the Specialized Prosecution of hiding evidence until the final file, because according to him, he knew that the defense would attack and reject this evidence.

He stressed that the Prosecution is changing the presentation of evidence in their rebuttals. Misetic also mentioned the testimony of Bislim Zyrap, stressing that he was not a credible witness.

“On Wednesday, we asked the Prosecution to explain to us how it reached this conclusion, when Zyrapi was present at the KLA meetings and Zyrapi was not a member of the KLA. We did not receive any response, and the reason for this is that the Prosecution has no response. For us, this does not make sense,” said Misetic.
