An unprecedented event has been recorded on Kakovatos beach, Ilia, in Greece, where a 38-year-old man attempted to rape a tourist on the coast.

While the 50-year-old was sunbathing, the 38-year-old emerged from the sea completely naked, heading towards the tourist, reports Protothema .

He tried to forcefully hold the tourist and tried to abuse her, but he escaped because of the body cream she had put on her body, which made the 38-year-old's hands slippery.

The woman then started running to save herself.

The 38-year-old was arrested a few hours later.
