The water level in Lake Fierza continues to drop due to high temperatures and lack of rainfall.

Flows from the rivers that supply the largest reservoir in the country have dropped significantly, while the lake level has dropped to 283.89 meters, from 296 meters, which is the maximum level.

Three of the four aggregates are currently operating at the Fierza HPP, with an active production capacity of around 300 megawatts.

Due to drought conditions and increased energy consumption due to high temperatures for the period July-September 2026, KESH has purchased approximately 331 thousand megawatt/hours of energy, worth 41.5 million euros, to guarantee uninterrupted supply to the country.
