" Justice is going crazy !", a colleague told me.

I took it as an emotional expression, as an exaggerated reaction to the reality that surrounds us.

But then I listened to the audio of the hearing for the arrest of lawyer Uilian Bajrami and realized that there was no exaggeration.

It was a grim reflection of our judicial system, which often behaves like an owner, not a servant of the law.

In this country, there is a lot of talk about SPAK and GJKKO, about sensational investigations and large files.

But there is silence about district courts, where justice has often turned into a farce.

Where some judges and prosecutors behave as if they are untouchable, where the arrogance of petty power is more dangerous than corruption itself.

The biggest evil is that abuse has become routine.

Files that drag on for years, unjust decisions that pass without any reaction, people who lose faith that the law can protect them.

And meanwhile, the system remains silent, society turns a blind eye, and every other violation becomes "normal."

But no, enough is enough.

SPAK and GJKKO cannot be an alibi for a justice system that does not function. It is not enough to clean the top of the pyramid when the base is rotten.

The time has come for real reform, not limited to names and commissions, but to affect every courtroom where justice is abused in the name of the law.

No one, neither prosecutor nor judge, can be above the law. And any silence in the face of this reality is complicity.
