Today's decision of the Parliament of Albania to remove Arben Ahmetaj's immunity is the most important decision that socialists have ever taken in their history to strengthen their faith in justice and to dare to face themselves. Arben Ahmetaj is not an ordinary socialist character, but the man who has been entrusted with more tasks than anyone else in their ten-year rule. Therefore, the decision was not easy.

It would not be so easy, especially if Arben Ahmetaj was in the hall and his file and all his colleagues would face him.

In this respect, he has made the decision easier for his colleagues, even though it is one of the most serious things against himself.

Edi Rama seemed determined to do this and if Arben Ahmetaj would stay here as he wanted, but of course he had a more justified decision, perhaps and his anger when he made this decision.

Of course, it was easier for the divided parts of the opposition. Sali Berisha had all his golden opportunity to appear allies with him and opponents with Edi Rama, even though no party will have him as an ally.

A man sanctioned by family as a thief, with a thief wife, a thief daughter, a thief son and himself a master thief, of course he felt in the seventh heaven when he thought that he would discuss the sanctioning of one of his opponents.

The other two parts of the opposition also felt doubly motivated by both Berisha's joy and Edi Rama's anger.

Ilir Meta, whose party became the promoter of the denunciation of this project, did not have the courage to stay in the hall, perhaps because it seemed to him that they themselves were being judged.

But for Arben Ahmetaj, of course, it is not easy. His letter full of anger and frustration to his colleagues who did not seem to defend him, has no power to replace his defense in the hall of parliament. 

It is clear that Edi Rama has supported a project which has made many figures of the Socialist Party in power dirty, and today was the day if he would agree to be blackmailed by the consequences of this project or if he would face it.

He chose to face it. And this is good news for justice and the future of the separation of its power from political power, bringing to a record number the consequences that it itself has from the reform it has adopted and from the risk of the return of the Republic of Prosecutors.

Today's decision shows that future battles will no longer be a battle between the opposition and the government, but a battle between justice and politics.

The government is demonstrating courage to face justice by leaving the opposition in calculating positions and not in moral positions.

If you look at their attitude, you understand that they are trying to use the decisions of justice to create a political climate against the government, and this is semi-legitimate. But they do not dare to take a moral stance towards this justice. If you notice, Sali Berisha and his followers still have great enemy SPAK and the new justice and not the power. Even every boldness of power to face justice instead of adding to their joy adds to their despair against the new justice. Today, instead of the opposition welcoming justice, they are more aggressive with justice and more afraid of the government's decisions than the victims of justice. That some things are instinctive, especially for those who know what they have done
