The police continue operations against illegal gambling, while this Saturday another case was discovered in Tirana, as part of the operation codenamed "Gambling Fate".

During inspections at a bar on "Kajo Karafili" street, it was found that the premises were set up for the illegal development of gambling, through electronic machines and poker tables.

As a result of the operation, 4 gambling machines, a poker table, and other items suspected of being used for this illegal activity were seized, while the bar's administrator, 38-year-old Fabion Karkanaqe, a resident of Tirana, was arrested.

According to the police, controls within the framework of this operation continue in various entities and environments, with the aim of cracking down on illegal gambling activities.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Sector, based on information obtained regarding a case of adapting a premises for the development of gambling, has organized the work within the framework of the coded operation "Gambling Fate".

As a result of which, citizen FK, 38 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested in flagrante delicto.

On "Kajo Karafili" street, in the premises managed by the 38-year-old, 4 machines used for gambling, poker tables and other items suspected of being used for organizing gambling were found.

Controls against this illegal activity continue in various entities and environments.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
