Joana Kurti

The former competitor of "Love Island", Xhoana Kurti, has "broken" the silence and has spoken for the first time about her cohabitation with Ergys Dashi in Guayaquil, Ecuador, with whom she has a son.

Xhoana has told the difficult moment where she has told between emotions the difficult moment when they took the photo of her murdered partner to recognize her even though she was 9 months pregnant, expecting their child.

"I was also called by a friend of his who wanted to talk to him, while I received a photo and asked if it was him. I get the shot of the dead and I'm in awe. I screamed a lot and I told a friend that Gysi was killed. When they confirmed my death, I don't remember anything and I experienced depression", said Xhoana in the show "Glamour Zone"

She has also revealed the "war" for the property that she had with the family members of Ergys Dashi, after the murder of the latter.

According to her, they had doubts about the paternity of the child, as Xhoana said that she has no contact with Ergys Dashi's father even today.

"After his death, the wealth was also gambled away. They denied my child, telling me that it is not with the person. I have stood with him for the man, and not for the wealth. They said he's coming out, he's doing it all the time. The boy's family and society. I have no contact with the father of the boy in question, while I call my mother-in-law a friend" , said Xhoana.

Also, she stated that she was only the girlfriend of Ergys Dashi and that she was not aware of his problems with drug trafficking, but thought that he worked in a banana company.

"It's been known because I posted pictures with him, but I think it's too much news that I was part of the criminal group, when I was just the girlfriend. I had no connection to things I didn't know existed. It was a great tragedy for me. There were days when I was feeling it and thought that I don't know what will happen. That day I was not well, I was anxious. I knew there were problems, but I didn't know it was this big. I knew that a banana company was working", said Xhoana Kurti.

Ergys Dashi, originally from the city of Durrës, was executed on the evening of January 23, 2022 in one of the restaurants of the most popular residential areas of Guayaquil, as the analysis of the conversations in the "Sky Ecc" application showed that he was involved in cocaine trafficking from countries of Latin America towards Europe, as part of the group of Ervin Mata, Ismail Zeneli and Eralbi Breçani. His murder is even mentioned from the conversations on "Sky Ecc", where it is said that a berat paid large sums to eliminate him.
