Forensic examination, security camera footage and other evidence collected by authorities have shed light on the last seconds of 45-year-old Albanian Julieta Obzova's life in Greece and how her 48-year-old partner Altin Allmuça killed her.
According to information, the 48-year-old man had been waiting for the 45-year-old woman outside the building where she lived. The moment the woman opened the front door, he entered the building with her.
What happened next took place in just a matter of seconds. According to Greek media, within about three to five seconds, 48-year-old Altin Allmuça allegedly kicked the 45-year-old with one or two kicks, causing her to fall and remain kneeling on the ground. He then pointed the gun at her.
The 45-year-old, upon seeing the gun pointed at her, reacted instinctively and raised her hands in her direction, in an attempt to protect herself. This move apparently prevented the 48-year-old from hitting her with the first bullet.
Immediately after that, according to information, the perpetrator pulled her by the hands about a meter further and shot her again in the head, causing her death. After killing the 45-year-old, the 48-year-old turned the revolver on himself and committed suicide. According to information, the weapon he used was illegally held.
An important part of the investigation is relying on footage from security cameras in the area, which recorded the 48-year-old's movements before the crime.
The footage shows that the man had arrived in the area earlier and had waited for the 45-year-old outside the building where she lived.
In parallel, officers are analyzing the 48-year-old's electronic devices, looking for communications and other data that may shed light on his relationship with the victim and the events leading up to the murder.
"I broke up with him because he was jealous"
According to information, the 45-year-old had told her sister about her relationship with a man, telling her that she had decided to break up with him because of his jealousy.
She allegedly also told him that her husband was still insisting and that she was afraid of him. On the evening of the murder, the woman was alone at home. Her daughter was not in Athens, having gone to Agrinio with her uncle.
Meanwhile, authorities have also collected data on the 48-year-old's movements before he went to Nea Smyrni.
Before leaving home, he left his wife 1,000 euros and told her: "Keep it, you have money." His wife told authorities that over the past 18 months she had noticed a change in his behavior.
According to her testimony, the 48-year-old was often absent from home and some nights he slept somewhere else, while she did not know where he was or if he was in a relationship with another woman. She also allegedly told police that she was afraid of him.
