Police investigations into the murder of Pjetër (Gjoka) Kola in the Puka area have led the agents to the trail of another woman, who is said to have been accompanied by now.

News24 has learned that the escorted woman is from Berat and was detained as she is thought to have knowledge of the circumstances of the incident.

The murder of 44-year-old Pjetër Kola allegedly happened in a warehouse in the village of Korthpulë, after the break-up of drug deals.

So far, two residents of the area have been arrested for the incident, a woman from Cërrik and the newly arrested from Berat.

Meanwhile, the suspected author of the event, Martin Pergjini, remains at large. It is suspected that in the drug warehouse that was the cause of Kola's murder on September 27, women from different districts of Albania worked, and among the employees engaged there were also foreign citizens.

Pjeter Kola from the village of Ungrej i Lezha was initially taken by two still unidentified persons to the health center in Vaun e Dejës and then they abandoned him there.

Then from there he was transported to the regional hospital of Shkodra for more specialized treatment and the police announced that the 44-year-old died in the hospital.
