A rare intervention of high degree of difficulty to remove the tumor in a delicate area, deep in the brain has been successfully performed in the Neurosurgery Service at QSUT.

The news was announced by the Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu, who thanked the medical staff for the work done.

The operation was performed by doctors Arsen Seferi, Ridvan Alimehmeti, Elvis Dervishi, Ejona Lilamani, Mithat Demneri and Kliti Pilika. The patient who underwent the operation is 40 years old.

"A rare intervention of a high degree of difficulty for the complete removal of the tumor in a very delicate area deep in the brain has been successfully performed at the Neurosurgery Service at QSUT. Congratulations to the team with Prof. Asc. Arsen Seferi, Prof. Asc. Ridvan Alimehmeti, Dr. Elvis Dervishi, Dr. Ejona Lilamani, Dr. Mithat Demneri, Dr. Kliti Pilika", writes Manastirliu.
