African wave scorches Albania, tourists and citizens brave the heat in the

Albania is facing the peak of the African heat, where temperatures in cities such as Berat, Tirana, Shkodra, Fier, Lushnja and Gjirokastra have reached extreme values.

Friday marked a record high of 44 degrees in the shade in Berat, while in Tirana, under the sun, the thermometer exceeded 50 degrees. Saturday will also be scorching, due to high humidity, while on Sunday a significant drop in temperatures of up to 10 degrees and precipitation is expected in some areas.

Despite the challenges of the heat, Albania continues to remain a favorite destination for tourists, who try to enjoy their trip despite the extreme heat.
