24-year-old E.Pishkashi, who was seriously injured in the accident on the Road Axis Përrenjas-Qafë Said, could not survive the injuries and died this Saturday at the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.

The 24-year-old was injured in the accident, injuring five family members. Five days ago, 44-year-old Jetmir Daci hit six family members while they were near their vehicle, after stopping at a bar, about 30 m away from the road lane.

The police test showed that the 44-year-old was drunk at the wheel at 0.40 mg/l of alcohol when he hit the Pishkashi family. But, although drunk, the 44-year-old was not arrested and only this Saturday, five days after the event, police decided to stop the driver of the vehicle.

The police announcement says that specialists from the Road Police Sector have stopped on the initiative the citizen Jetmir Daci, 44, resident of Peshkopi, for the criminal offense "Violation of road traffic rules". A notice issued by police minutes before news broke that 24-year-old E. Pishkashi, who was injured by the accident, died in hospital.
