Bundles of euros placed in socks and cocaine in the microwave were discovered by anti-drug agents in Italy during the international operation "Sammogia" where the Albanian gang was destroyed.

Three of the arrested were caught in Vlora, 52-year-old Ladi Kalemaj, Floriant and Ledjon Muho , respectively 38 and 33 years old.

The Albanian gang is accused of trafficking drugs from Germany to Italy and were kept under surveillance during the transportation of narcotics.

13 coercive measures were taken and a total of 22 people were investigated, while during the investigations it was established that the Albanians distributed cocaine throughout the territory of Italy to many buyers, their compatriots.

The organization was also able to secure significant amounts of marijuana.

During the investigations, a total of 26.5 kg of cocaine and 11 kg of marijuana were seized and 5 people were arrested in the act.
