The young man, a resident of the Youth Sector in Durrës, allegedly cooperated with Esmerald Balla in transporting the victim's body by vehicle from the scene to the well where the body was thrown.

The testimony of Esmerald Balla, who allegedly killed her father after a fight over 75,000 euros and threw his dead body into a well, has been clarified.

According to him, the serious crime happened on August 11 after the debate between them. The young man claims that after he noticed the lack of money in the safe, which according to him was damaged with strong tools, he turned to his father saying "Where is the money?", but the latter replied "No know". Esmerald Balla claims that at that moment her father took the gun, threatening to kill her, as she pointed out "when I was trying to take the pistol from her hand, it fired".

He testified that he reported him missing two days later, on August 13, according to the police report, and fabricated the story that his father had left with a woman along with the money.

"We have a small farm and we both worked there with our father and other family members. Economically, things were going very well and we didn't have any problems as everyone did their own tasks. I have received the building permit and will build a new house (next to the one where they live) and the works were going very well. We at home from several years of work had an amount of nearly 75 thousand euros. On the day of the event, I went to collect the money after the contractor demanded payment because he had closed the work we had agreed on. I went to the place to get the money and pay it and found that 75 thousand euros were missing. I say to my father "where is the money"!? "I don't know", he told me. The safe was damaged with strong tools. It was open. That's where I start to argue. I will kill you, he said and took the pistol and pointed it at me. At one point I approached him and held his hands. At the moment when I was trying to take the pistol from his hand, it was fired.

When the gun was fired and after I saw that my father was shot, my world collapsed because I did not want this to happen. I panicked. I didn't know what to do. I was afraid to report the crime to the police even though it was an accident. I took the body in the car and we have a well about 1 thousand meters from the house. I threw it there to hide it. I turned off the phone, removed the card and threw the wire into the well. Well, I wasn't feeling well. I got anxious and felt bad. I went to the Durres hospital for a visit. The doctors gave me some medicine. After a couple of days, I reported my missing father to the police. Now to the police that the father had taken the money and disappeared with another girl. I also informed my brothers. I told him that his father ran away from home. This continued for several days until you discovered the incident. I'm very sorry, I didn't want it to go like this", said Esmarald Balla, among others.
