One of the most wanted characters of the underworld in Europe has been arrested in Colombia. He has been identified as Deniz Klironomi, known by the nickname 'Gucci' and turns out to be part of the 'Los Pachenca' group, which deals in drug, immigrant and arms trafficking.
Klironomi, an Albanian from Durrës, was on a red signal from Interpol. Since the end of 2020, Dijin police investigators received information that a drug trafficker had arrived in the northern bay of Colombia.
A special team of investigators immediately started working to track his steps, but every time they tracked him down, he disappeared because he changed his location almost every month. This lasted for 7 months until the police arrived at an apartment in Barranqiulla where the Albanian lived.
For a week, the 45-year-old did not even leave the window until officers managed to get a picture of a tattoo on his left arm and were able to identify him. But when he was photographed, according to Dijin investigators, he threatened the police saying that something might happen to those who try to extradite him. According to foreign media, he ordered his men to Romania and Albania and paid money so that they would not extradite him.
