SPAK registers criminal proceedings for Vlora Airport, investigation also for
Vlora Airport

The Special Prosecution Office confirms that it has registered criminal proceedings for Vlora Airport.

The investigative body has published this fact on its official website, as part of its transparency program, but remains reserved in details about what criminal offense it was registered for, whether it was registered with a proceeding number or subject name, and on what evidence.

According to SYRI TV journalist Fatjon Gjinaj, on May 8 of this year, Prime Minister Edi Rama inspected the first certification flight. Unofficial sources indicate that the concession and contract award procedures, as well as other legal and procedural criteria, are being verified to see if they were in compliance with the law.

SPAK also announces that it has registered criminal proceedings for another sensitive issue, namely the interference in the TIMS system. The investigations, according to the prosecution, are in the preliminary phase and have been registered within the framework of a criminal report that has reached the prosecutor's office.

The TIMS system, we recall, has also been part of political debates, where a parliamentary investigative commission was established, while Ervin Muça, former director of IT at the State Police, ended up in prison. SPAK does not specify what episode the complainant's claim is related to and who the persons or institutions being investigated are./syri.net
