New details from the scandal that happened last week at the "Lidhja e Prizren" school, in Deçan, Kosovo.

Valentin Selmanaj, a physical education teacher, kissed a student in the seventh grade, his student with the initials EM is only 12 years old.

The spokesperson of the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Peja, Shkodran Nikqi , said that the suspected teacher was detained for 48 hours under the suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of "Sexual assault".

As well as against him, the prosecution within the legal term will submit the request for the determination of the measure of detention.

"The state prosecutor has taken investigative actions for the complete clarification of this criminal case, "who went to the police station and ordered the seizure of the defendant's phone", said Nikqi.

The footage was recorded by a school student who also reported the case to the police.

During the weekend, the teacher together with school colleagues and students went on an excursion to Albania. He is said to have been arrested after returning to Kosovo.
