A gunshot wound occurred at a bar in the capital on Wednesday evening (April 16), where one person was shot and taken to a private hospital in Tirana after the incident.

Meanwhile, as several hours have passed since the incident, new details emerge from the altercation that ended in the use of a weapon.

It is learned that 7 people were sitting together at a table inside the restaurant on "Sami Frashëri" street, where two of them, after arguing, hit each other.

It is reported that one of them shook hands with everyone at the table, while the other person refused, insulting him. The fight then escalated into a physical and chair fight.

During the altercation, shots were fired, and the people involved then fled the scene in 4 cars at high speed to escape the police.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, the police found a shell casing and blood stains inside the restaurant where the conflict occurred. They also seized the pistol-type firearm that had been left inside the restaurant by the perpetrator, as it is suspected that it had fallen to the ground during the physical altercation.

The weapon has been sent to a laboratory for examination to detect DNA and fingerprints.

Meanwhile, one person was injured by gunfire and was allegedly transported to a private hospital.

Meanwhile, according to preliminary information, it is learned that the clash between them occurred over money with interest.

So far, there is no information about the identity and age of the injured person, or other people present at the scene.

Even though 12 hours have passed since the incident, the police have still not issued an official statement.
