Another raid in Vlora prison, convict's phone found on mattress

Following surprise checks at the Penitentiary Institution, a case of possession of prohibited items was identified.

During the search of the interior premises on the second floor, an iPhone-type mobile phone was found and seized, hidden inside the mattress.

Procedural actions were carried out regarding the case and a record was kept of the blocking and sequestration of the blocked items.

The General Directorate of Prisons remains committed to strengthening security in penitentiary institutions and cracking down on any illegality within the system.
