According to insiders at Albanian Radio Television, it is learned that this institution has appealed the first instance decision that found moderator Florian Agalliu right in the lawsuit for unfair dismissal.

According to the decision, the public institution was forced to repay its financial obligations to him, following allegations of violation of rights and breach of contract.

But RTSH has reacted by strongly opposing this decision and has filed an appeal in court. According to the public television, Agalliu has presented incorrect information regarding his employment status by declaring himself unemployed and being inaccurate regarding the payments received.

In its statement, it is learned that RTSH claims that the moderator's fees have been paid regularly every month and that there is no unfulfilled financial obligation. The institution emphasizes that the first instance court was based on claims that, according to them, do not hold water.

On the other hand, the initial decision had accepted Agalliu's lawsuit, considering his dismissal as unfair and ordering the repayment of the relevant obligations.

The case is now expected to be reviewed by the Court of Appeal, where it will be decided whether the first instance decision will be upheld or overturned. The case has aroused widespread interest, as it involves public media and one of the well-known moderators of Albanian television.
