Drunk guard causes "scandal" at Korça hospital, hits family

An unusual event occurred at the Korça Regional Hospital, where a guard, in a drunken state, entered the sanatorium pavilion.

He, under the influence of alcohol, entered the ward and the patients' rooms, where he began to curse and insult them.

After this, the medical staff intervened, and he argued with the latter (the nurses) and then hit a family member of a hospitalized patient.

The police were notified and intervened to calm the situation, while also escorting the guard to the police station.
