Rama honored with the highest medal of the United Arab Emirates

Prime Minister Edi Rama has been honored with the highest medal of the United Arab Emirates.

"Deeply touched by the unimaginable surprise and extraordinary honor from the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The awarding of the highest medal of the friendly country, which bears the name of the founder of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Zayed, is the greatest respect and appreciation for an Albanian prime minister, which I received humbly, full of pride for Albania and with deep gratitude for the great friend of the Albanians, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, as well as for every Albanian who has entrusted me with the leadership and representation of our common homeland," Rama wrote on Facebook.

Rama was in the United Arab Emirates after attending the Sustainable Development Summit in Abu Dhabi.
