Protest at Zogu i Zi on the first day of school, police escort some protesters

Another form of protest took place today in Tirana, on the first day of the new school year, as traffic in the capital was at high levels.

Protesters have attempted to protest at the Zogu i Zi traffic junction, one of Tirana's busiest thoroughfares, causing traffic difficulties.

Police intervention was immediate, while some of the protesters were escorted by officers.

The incident occurred at a time when the flow of vehicles in the capital is high due to the start of the new school year, bringing increased traffic on Tirana's main roads.

Police forces have intervened to avoid blocking the traffic junction and restore normal vehicle movement.
