The Democratic Party has called for the next national protest today, April 17th, in the afternoon.

The rally will start in front of the Prime Minister's Office at 7:00 PM and, according to the permission granted by state authorities, will last for about 3 hours.

There are 1,500 officers on the ground to ensure the smooth running of the protest. The director of the State Police, Skënder Hita, is also on the ground.


Tirana Police, while announcing that they have taken several measures to manage this gathering, have clarified that the protest will start at 19:00 and will continue until 22:00 in front of the Prime Minister's Office. Based on this announcement, the blue uniforms say that the movement of vehicles will be limited on several axes, mainly those related to the boulevard and the Prime Minister's Office building.
