A 66-year-old Russian man has been found lifeless inside his apartment in Golem, Kavaja.

Police say he had not answered calls on his phone for several days and was found with no signs of life.

Police say the door to the apartment was locked and has had to be forced open. The prosecution has already taken over the investigation into the case.

Police notification:

At about 10pm, the Kavaja Police were informed that the Russian citizen V. U., about 66 years old, who lived on the third floor of a palace in Golem, Kavaja, had not answered the phone for several days.

Police officers immediately went to the address and found that the outside door of the apartment was closed. Police services have forcibly opened the door of the apartment, where they found the citizen V. U. without signs of life.

At the scene is an investigative group which under the direction of the Prosecutor is carrying out actions to clarify the circumstances and legal document of the cause of the death of the 66-year-old.
