The police announced today the capture of a wanted 32-year-old man, who allegedly, in cooperation with his brother, threatened a 34-year-old man to give him 200,000 euros a year ago.

In the official announcement of the Police, it is stated that in implementation of the measures defined in the "Rule of Law" operational plan, for the capture of wanted citizens, the Section for the Investigation of Crimes Against the Person, based on informational intelligence, detained the wanted citizen ED, 32 years old , resident in Belgium.

But family members of 32-year-old Ervis Dervishi claim for Balkanweb that he has surrendered to the Police.

"Our son has been handed over to the police, there was no operation to capture him", claim the family members. In order to support their version, they also publish the document signed by the judicial police officer, according to which the 32-year-old has surrendered to the law enforcement bodies.

The citizen ED, on 12.08.2023, in cooperation with his brother (arrested before, in the framework of the "Pressure" operation), allegedly threatened a 34-year-old citizen to give him the amount of 200,000 euros, allegedly stemming from joint criminal activities in the field of narcotics, carried out abroad.
