Folk singer Bledar Hoxhaj has fallen victim to a robbery in Fier, at an extremely difficult time for him and his family.

The incident occurred during the funeral ceremony of his first cousin, whom Hoxhaj was escorting to his final residence. According to the singer's own complaint on social media, at around 10:00, a person entered his vehicle, a dark gray Audi Q5, and took the money that was in the wallet left inside the car.

What makes the situation more serious is the fact that everything happened on a day of mourning, as Hoxhaj and his family were dealing with the pain of losing their loved one.

According to him, the perpetrator was filmed by security cameras, which also captured the moment he got into the vehicle. After the theft, the person fled the scene in a light gray Opel vehicle.

Hoxhaj has appealed for citizens' help, asking that anyone who may have identified the person, seen the vehicle, or has any information that could help solve the incident contact him.

"If anyone recognizes the person, has seen the car, or has any information that could help, please contact me. The footage will be handed over to the relevant authorities," he wrote, among other things, as he shared the footage.
