The former mayor of the municipality of Himara, Vasil Bollano , was arrested by the police after he killed the minor, Elio Hamiti , who was walking on foot , in Llogara yesterday .

As a result of the injuries received, the 17-year-old died in the Trauma Hospital, Tirana. The 66-year-old Bollano is accused of the criminal offense "Violation of traffic rules", resulting in death.
