A delicate brain intervention was successfully performed on a 30-year-old patient by the staff of the Neurosurgery Service in collaboration with the ENT Service at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center.

The news was given by the Minister of Health, Albana Koçiu, according to which for the first time an operation is performed in the very delicate center of the brain, eliminating the intervention through the head.

" For the first time in public health structures, through the collaboration of the multidisciplinary team and modern devices, an operation is performed in the very delicate center of the brain (suprasellar region), eliminating intervention through the head.

The patient is out of danger, thanks to the professional and dedicated work of the team of neurosurgeons, ENT doctors and anesthesiologists, Prof. Artur Jumari, Dr. Tedi Minarolli, Dr. Myfit Saraçi, as well as the nursing staff Ridvana Gjura, Ervin Meta, who assisted during the surgical intervention ", writes Koçiu.
