The pensions of Albanians in Greece were one of the issues that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, discussed in the conversation he held with journalists.
Hasani said that the process with Athens is more difficult than the one that was carried out with Italy.
According to Hasan, one of the problematic annexes in this regard is the issue of changing names, while he emphasized that Albania is ready to finalize the process.
"The government has done its part of the obligation to draft, clarify, define what is needed for the pension agreement with Greece.
It is not a very easy negotiation because the numbers are big and the realities are different, but we are really trying to push this. There are many open topics with Greece and we want to achieve results as soon as possible in this regard.
We are ready, I can say that unlike Italy where the negotiation was very long and with many annexes, there were at least no name changes.
So when we get into the technical elements, we must be clear. Many Albanians who have immigrated to Greece receive these benefits when they immigrate from Greece to other EU countries with which we have agreements ", said Hasani.
