Actress Anila Bisha has spoken for the first time about the lawsuit filed against the government for using her image as the virtual minister "Diella".
Bisha has requested from the Administrative Court of First Instance of Tirana to impose a temporary measure suspending the use of her personal data to create the image of Diella, who was appointed last fall as Minister of Public Procurement.
The actress, during an interview with DW, stated that she feels violated in her image. According to her, the use of the image is a very dangerous thing, especially for a public figure. Bisha argues that she has built a beautiful name for the Albanian public and according to her, this will bring hatred from the public opinion.
Actress Anila Bisha: It was something very serious regarding my image. Things started to be used differently…
This is a very important cause, it could happen to any of my colleagues and to an unknown person, it is very dangerous. I am a public person, I have created a very beautiful name, the public loved me very much. I love, I don't love, a part that doesn't love the prime minister, hates me too, without having any kind of connection.
The actress argues in the lawsuit that the appearance of the avatar in the role of "virtual minister for Artificial Intelligence" was done without her consent and in violation of the contractual agreement.
The lawsuit has been filed in the Administrative Court against the Council of Ministers, the Appeal Company and the AKSHI. A reaction has also come from the government. Through the director of the Media and Information Agency, Manjola Hasa, the government announces that it respects the right of every citizen to seek justice, but considers the allegations raised in this case to be unfounded.
