The agents of the Police Supervision Agency have located and arrested their colleague, inspector Festim Xhafaj .

This citizen, who was on duty until a few weeks ago at the Himara police station , was wanted for stalking and crashing into the car of his colleague.

As can be seen from the public footage, the agents forcibly tore open the door of the house where he was on the run and handcuffed Festim Xhafa.

"The Police Surveillance Agency (Vlorë-Gjirokastër Region), in cooperation with the Vlorë DVP, have detained the police officer of the Himarë Police Station, Festim Xhafaj, suspected of committing the criminal offenses of "Stalking", "Domestic Violence", "Disobeying the order of the employee" of the public order police", as well as "Producing, keeping, buying or selling cold weapons without a permit".

The arrest of this citizen was made possible after the information provided by the Police Surveillance Agency on his location, after the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Vlora had set the personal security measure "Arrest in prison.

This citizen had long been stalking a police officer of the Vlora Police Station, with whom he had an intimate relationship.

In fact, two years ago, the two policemen were suspended from duty because footage of them kissing in the State Police patrol car appeared on social networks.  

The event happened in the summer of 2022 and it seems that the relations were no longer the same between the two policemen, until Festim Xhafaj started the pursuit.

The situation went too far, so much so that one day the policeman decided to hit his colleague and ex-partner with a car.
