OSHEE proposes changing the price of energy for bread ovens, from 7.6 Lek - 12

OSHEE proposes changing the price of electricity for bakeries that produce bread and pastries.

The proposal was made for 3 bundles, for the bread ovens there remains 7.6 kilowatts, which is currently.

While it will increase by 9.5 kilowatts for bakeries that have both a pastry shop and 12 kilowatts for bakeries that have a pastry shop and coffee shop.

The proposal was made at the discussion table with representatives of the Association of Bread, Pastries and Doughs where the Deputy Prime Minister, at the same time Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku was present.

" We have had a very long discussion with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy with representatives there and we have made a type of typology that I believe and with the Bakery Association we have found agreement. Today we come with a proposal that has 3 prices. There is a price which is 7.6 lek per kilowatt which is only for those entities that only have a bakery, nothing else.

We have a price of 9.5 lek, which is for those premises that have bakeries but that also have slightly more integrated activities, such as the sale of pastries or other bakery products. And we have another price that is 12 lek, which is for those premises that are more extended and include bar and coffee ", said the director of OSHEE, Enea Karakaçi.

According to the ministry, 66 million kilowatts per year are spent by the furnaces, which translates into a value of 500 million lek for the company.
