A few days ago, "Primordial Passion" was presented, the first luxury watch inspired by Albanian heritage.
The watch measures less than 5x5 cm and costs 1.28 million euros, in other words the first Albanian watch that competes in Geneva and is like no other.
This unique watch features twelve Albanian folk dancers, each representing a different region of Albania, with hyper-realistic detail in the small figures marking the hours.
"Primordial Passion" created by Pirro Ruço, is a tribute to the cultural and artistic wealth of Albania. Each figure is carved with incredible precision, maintaining an exact height of 9-10mm.
This level of detail is the result of careful and meticulous work, requiring high craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail.

The designs of the figures reflect the traditional clothing of each region, including the specific embroideries and colors that make each region unique.
In addition to the artistic aspect, the "Primordial Passion" boasts a Swiss precision mechanism, which guarantees a high performance and durability over time. This combination of Albanian tradition with Swiss watch technology creates a product that is unique in the luxury watch market.
Publicist and researcher Artan Lame also wrote about this achievement:
Artan Lame's post
That hour of Pyrrhus, which left us all speechless, is almost four decades of stress, work, efforts of this man, footholds, stolen tenders, illegal copies, sticks between the wheels, espionage, slander, bypassing, rumors, fines all kinds of obstacles that only the sons of Albanian know how to put.
I say four decades, that Pirro's troubles are not only from this time, but started from that other time when they spied on him that "the nephew of the kulak could not be allowed to carve with the emblems of the Party"! Pirro succeeded then and he succeeded now.
He really succeeded, but if you talk to him, you immediately notice a dose of fatigue that he expresses on his face after four decades of facing all the Albanian anger with only one thing, the anger of the worker. The famous watch that everyone is talking about not only here but also across the continent, is just the latest triumph of a man who endured it all, forging ahead in his increasingly refined craftsmanship.
Also, his mastery should make us realize that the time must slowly pass when the only thing we show the world is how we spied on each other in the House of Leaves, but that we are able to export even the highest level crafts of competitor.
There was another Pirro some two thousand years ago whose career ended when a brick was hit on his head. Today's Pyrrhus brought his watch to all the angry old men and to all the lovers the pleasure of beauty. Let the haters get angry, while the lovers can continue to enjoy the art of this working Albanian.
