Friends of Svetlana, the Russian who entered the military base in Gramsh, continue to appeal on social networks that she is innocent and demand money to pay the lawyer.
"We are in contact with Lana's lawyer, Isuf Shehu, I am dealing with the case. With Lana's friends, we managed to make the first payment for the lawyer, they have been a great help. We have decided to create a fund globally, we need money for the lawyer. The gofundme platform has blocked the 4 thousand euros that were collected," said Maria Passer.
She rejects the news that they are cooperating with the media in Albania. Passer says it's the only way for them to tell their side of the story.
"We have decided to help Lana, me and some of her friends, and one of the things we are doing is communicating with the media. We have also contacted foreign media, such as Russian and others. We know that he is not a spy, he does not deserve to be punished for something like that," she said.
They believe that very soon their friend will be released and together they can continue to do what they love the most.
