Attorney Dr. Lulzim Alushaj

Lawyer Av. Dr. Lulzim Alushaj has officially announced his candidacy for the position of President of the Tirana Local Bar Association, entering the race with a platform that aims to increase the role and weight of the legal profession in the justice system.

 Alushaj 's candidacy for President of the Tirana Bar Association and Member of the General Council of the Albanian Bar Association represents a serious, professional alternative with a clear vision for reforming and strengthening the legal profession.

With 21 years of experience in practicing law, Attorney Lulzim Alushaj has built a consolidated professional and academic profile over the years, being considered one of the most prepared and active figures in the Albanian legal field.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Bologna in Italy, where he also completed his master's studies in the " International Lawyer" profile .

His academic training culminates with the completion of doctoral studies (PhD) in the field of " European Union Governance, Social and Fiscal Policies ", bringing European legal experience and culture to the Albanian legal profession.

In addition to being a lawyer in Albania, Attorney Alushaj is also a licensed lawyer in Italy, which makes his figure a professional bridge between Albanian and European legal practice.

His professional activity has developed both at the national and international levels, giving a broad dimension to his legal experience.

Over the past few years, he has been strongly engaged in protecting the public interest and the rights of liberal professions.

One of the most important issues pursued by him was the organization and successful prosecution before the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania of the case for the repeal of several provisions of the law " On Income Tax ", which affected the liberal professions.

As a result of this commitment, over 29 thousand freelance professionals benefited from the removal of the tax burden of 15 to 23 percent, turning this legal battle into one of the most significant cases of protecting the professional and economic interests of citizens.

Adv. Alushaj is also the founder and director of “ Studio Legale Albania ”, a law firm through which he practices his profession at all levels of the Albanian judiciary, earning the respect of his colleagues and the trust of his clients for his professionalism, correctness and dedication.

His candidacy for the leadership of the Tirana Bar Association is widely supported by fellow lawyers, who see him as a dignified representative of the interests of lawyers, a strong voice for the protection of the profession, and a leader with integrity and a modern vision for the future of the Albanian legal profession.
