The State Police informs that it has taken organizational and operational measures to guarantee public order and security during a rally requested by the "Alliance for the Protection of the Theater", the next day at 10:00, near the Municipality of Tirana.

In implementation of the plan of measures, the State Police announces that from 09:30 onwards, there will be a temporary blockage of vehicle traffic, on the main boulevard near the Municipality of Tirana.

For this reason, it is suggested to use alternative routes until the end of the rally, such as the Middle Ring and the Great Ring.

"During several previous gatherings, held by the Alliance for the Protection of the Theater, in the square in front of the Tirana City Hall, repeated cases of opposition to the police forces, the use and throwing of Molotov cocktails and other objects, in the direction of the Tirana City Hall, have been recorded. seriously endangering the life and health of police officers and the participants in the gatherings.

The Tirana Local Police Directorate fully respects the right of citizens to organize and participate in peaceful gatherings.
