The Special Court set the security measure "arrest in prison" for Gëzim Çela, who was extradited from Kosovo on Thursday. It is learned that the "drug baron" kept his mouth shut during the session and did not declare anything.

Gëzim Cela has begun to pay off the sentence given by the Court of Appeal for Serious Crimes on December 7, 2015. At that time, Çela was sentenced to 10 years and 8 months in prison for drug trafficking.

For Çela, SPAK has also opened an investigation into the origin of his assets, which are suspected of drug trafficking.

Meanwhile, the defense requested house arrest for Çela with the claim that there is no evidence, but GJKKO did not accept it.
