The head of anti-drugs in the Durrës Police, Gazmir Preçi , appeared before the Special Court today, to familiarize himself with the security measure, two days after being arrested in the act, receiving an amount of 10 thousand euros, from the owner of a bar. striptease night near Dajlani Bridge.

The exchange of money took place in a bar in the Kinostudio area in Tirana, under the supervision of the AMP and the authorization given by the Special Prosecutor's Office.

In his testimony, given today in front of the Court, Preçi requested freedom with the claim that he is the father of 3 minor children.

He also stated that he was not aware of the amount of money that the owner of the bar had in the envelope.

'I am the father of three minor children, I ask for a softer security measure. I didn't know what was in the envelope, so I took it', Preçi is said to have said. 

But despite the claims of the head of the Anti-Drug Agency, and his defense, GJKKO has confirmed the security measure of arrest and imprisonment against Preçi.

Referring to the SPAK file, Preçi had asked the owner of the night club, 'Night', located at the Dajlan Bridge in Durrës, for an amount of 20,000 euros, with the threat that otherwise he would block his business.

The latter, found under conditions of pressure, reported to the AMP, where investigations were then carried out, which then led to the red-handed arrest of the Anti-Drug chief.
