Residents of Rrjoll have continued their protest against the construction of the oligarch Bashkim Ulaj resort, facing off again today with police forces near the construction site.

The protesters attempted to approach the construction site but were stopped by police. They say the land belongs to them and oppose any intervention that aims to take their property.

"It's our land, we won't let it be taken from us. The mountaineers defend the land with blood," declared the residents, who also asked Fatmir Shpellzaj to present documentation if he claims ownership.

During the clash, some of the residents were escorted to the police station. According to them, insults were also used by the police officers during the intervention.

The oligarch Bashkim Ulaj began construction work on "Blu Borgo" on an area of ​​146 hectares in early February after receiving the construction permit.

The project envisages 33 accommodation and service structures, with buildings from 3 to 10 floors above ground and one underground floor.

The developer is the company " ABA Blue Borgo ", with the status of strategic investor.
