The customs officer in Vlora is arrested after allowing smuggling in exchange for a bribe.

From the investigative structures of the DVP Vlorë, the detention of the citizen AN, 46 years old, resident in Vlorë, after the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, Tirana, with the decision of April 18 of last year, set the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions".

This citizen is suspected of having allowed the introduction of contraband goods in exchange for a bribe while performing his duty as a customs officer in the port of Vlora.
