Sad news, the well-known Albanian professor passes away (Name+Photo)

A sad news came this morning. The professor of English literature, Refik Kadija, has passed away at the age of 81, leaving behind a great pain, not only in his family, but in all his colleagues, students and all those who during their lives have been separated as if even with his works.

Refik Kadija was one of the distinguished educators who taught the language of Shakespeare to many generations.

As friends describe him, Kadija was the professor who ran to catch the urban and to be in the auditorium earlier to give his knowledge to the younger generations.

Refik Kadija was born in Shkodër, Albania in 1941. During his prosperous pedagogical, academic and scientific career, he was not only involved in teaching, but also wrote books, monographs, scientific and professional works, translated several works of English literature , and has participated in many congresses, symposiums and scientific conferences abroad.

Professor Kadija was one of the first and most prominent English speakers in the Albanian world and one of the founders of the Department of English at the University of Tirana.

In short, Refik Kadija was one of those multiple talents who had a very broad, prosperous field of activity and who expressed their activity in distinct scientific and academic forms.
