Two Georgians have been sought after they reportedly defrauded a foreign exchange point by exchanging a sum of money for fake banknotes.

The search was reported by Georgian nationals L.R., 49, and L.P., 46, for the criminal offenses "Fraud" and "Coin-Forgery".

These 2 citizens, on 01.06.2024, in the exchange entity owned by the citizen A.A., have exchanged 40 million ALL, in 40 000 euros, with counterfeit banknotes.

Then, then, the capture of these two people.

Police notification:

They cheated on an exchange, swapping a sum of money for counterfeit banknotes, identifying and declaring the two Georgian citizens wanted.

As a result of intensive investigative actions carried out by the Department for Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes in DVP Elbasan, after the report by the owner of an exchange, that 2 citizens had defrauded him on the exchange, by swapping a sum of money from all to euro, forged banknotes, they have made possible the identification of 2 perpetrators of the case.

The following actions were announced in the search for Georgian citizens L.R., 49, and L.P., 46, for the criminal offenses "Fraud" and "Forgery of Coins".
