The General Directorate of Prisons has reacted after the denunciation of the lawyer Idajet Beqiri that the former bodyguard of Sali Berisha, Izet Haxhina, was tried to be poisoned in the prison of Reçi.

Through a press release, "Prisons" clarify that a package of medicines has arrived for one of the prisoners with the same name (Izet. H.) and that the nurse on duty simply asked Izet Haxhina if the medicines were for her or not.

This was exactly what prompted Izet Haxhi's allegations of attempted poisoning and the statements of his lawyer.

We remind you that the lawyer Idajet Beqiri claimed that Reçi prison employees sent a bag of medicine to Haxija's isolation cell and told him that it was sent to him by his family members. But according to Beqir, Haxhia immediately contacted his family members, as he gets any food or medicine from his sister. Beqiri writes that his sister told Haxhi that she did not send him the bag of medicines and so according to him this is an attempt to poison him and get rid of him.

The full statement of the Directorate of Prisons:

"The General Directorate of Prisons, clarifies the public opinion on some statements on online portals, according to which they were informed by the lawyer Idajet Beqiri, that his client Izet Haxhia in IEVP Reç Shkodër, "attempts to poison himself, with medicines and vitamins in the room isolation"

As above, we inform the public opinion that; On 07.04.2023, another prisoner with the same name (Izet.A), received medicine from his family via mail and was administered to the information office for control and approval by the doctor, according to the relevant procedures.

The nurses of the shift, V.Gj and AS took the medicines from the information office and left to send them to the person to whom they came (Izet.A) and during the passage from the observation sector they saw the name of Izet Haxhi on the door of the room and asked him if he had received medicine from the family. Convict Izet Haxhia replied that no medicine came to me, and nurses V.Gj and AS apologized, explaining that the medicines belonged to convict Izet. A. Today, 12.04.2023, while going to court, the convict Izet Haxhia, based on the misunderstanding of 07.04.2023, told an officer of the institution that they could poison me.

Sqarojmë se i dënuari Izet Haxhia, nuk është transferuar në asnjë Institucion të Ekzekutimit të Vendimeve Penale Tiranë, siç portalet shkruajnë, por është shoqëruar tranzit për të marrë pjesë në gjyq me datë 13.04.2023, ora 10:00. Pas përfundimit të seancës gjyqësore, i dënuari do të kthehet përsëri në IEVP Reç Shkodër. Pra këto deklarata janë absolutisht të pavërteta”

Denoncimi i avokatit Idajet Beqiri:

Në datën 10 prill 2023, në dhomën e izolimit të Burgut të Reçit, ku ndodhet ende i paraburgosur Izet Haxhia, i ka shkuar një "pako me ilaçe"! Izet Haxhia ka pyetur punonjësin e Burgut se cili nga familjarët e tij i kishin sjellë këto "ilaçe". Punonjësi i IEVP Reç i ka thënë se këtë pako me "ilaçe" dhe "vitamina" t'a kanë sjellë njerëzit e familjes tënde. 
Meqenëse Izet Haxhia plotësimin e nevojave të tij për ilaçe, ushqime etj, i bënë vetëm përmes motrës së tij me banim në Tiranë, i ka telefonuar asaj.
Motra e tij Ilmia, tepër e shqetësuar, e ka vënë në dijeni se nuk i ka sjellë asnjë llojë "ilaçi" atij, dhe e ka porositur të vëllan që të mos i përdorte ato në asnjë rrethanë!
Izet Haxhia ka kërkuar takim urgjent me drejtuesit e Burgut të Reçit, por i ka shkuar një përfaqësues dhe i ka thënë që ishte bërë një "gabim", pasi dërgesa nuk dihej cilit të burgosur i përkiste, sikurse nuk identifikohej as personi që i kishte futur këto "ilaçe" deri në dhomën e izolimit të Burgut ku qëndron Izet Haxhia. 

Izet Haxhia është larguar me urgjencë nga Burgu 302 "Mine Peza" në Tiranë dhe është transferuar në Burgun e Reçit me arsyetimin se ishte në kushte paraburgimi dhe duhet të kalonte në regjim kampi në IEVP Reç. Në fakt ai për 20 ditë mbahet i izoluar shumë më keq se një i paraburgosur në Burgun e Reçit, duke lënë shkas për veprime të tilla të dyshimta, si kjo me "ilaçet", për t'a eleminuar atë fizikisht! Bota e krimit, e cila i ka tantakulat e saj shumë të forta në Burgje, për shkak të një kallëzimi penal tepër serioz që Izet Haxhia ka bërë kundër ish Presidentit të Republikës Sali Berisha, ish Kryeministrit Ilir Meta etj, kallëzim penal që është rregjistruar në SPAK në vitin 2019 dhe është në proces hetimi, kërkojnë eleminimin e tij.

The "alarm" given by Ilmie Haxhia, Izet Haxhia's sister, after the unprecedented act with the so-called "medicines", must be evaluated with the seriousness required by law from the Ministry of Justice and SPAK, to ensure the life of Izet Haxhia.
